Stour-Power

This line is 32 meters long with an approximate height
of 8 meters, not the easiest line to link but with a weighted rope and
some luck you should be fine..

To access the bridge the best place to park is the free carpark
at the Sturminster Newton Recreation Ground, this carpark is hidden
at the end of Ricketts Lane.. 50.925241, -2.307328

The yellow dot is the point you leave the main road onto Ricketts Ln,
this is a tight turning and quite obscure..

Once in the carpark follow the path to the back of the playing field
and through the gate, follow the path down the hill and over a
footpath and continue until you find the bridge..

East-side..
To access this side go under the bridge and up the embankment..
West-side..
To access the other side follow the blue dots over the white bridge
further up the river, head to the hedge next to the bridge and find
the hole then climb the embankment..

The anchors consist of 4 iron railings on each side and you will need
about 50m of rope on each side, these railings are also used for the back-up
but work is ongoing to create a bolted back up..

For access to the west-side of the bridge please contact
Hannah at colberfarm@hotmail.co.uk
and give as much notice as possible..
