A teaser of my performance in Abu Dhabi..

 

Natural Games 2012

Around May Maverick were contacted by the guys at Slack.fr

about a competition in Millau, France..

 

 

Initially just 3 slackliners were invited but with a
cash injection from Maverickwe realised we would
 be able to stretch the budget to 8 of us..

 

It was an incredible adventure driving from Brighton
 all the way to the south of France,

we had car crashes, birthdays and road-side yoga sessions.

 

After 2 days of solid travelling we arrived to
beautiful weather and a vibrant festival,

the slackline competition was amazing with competitors
 from as far away as Japan..

 

 

I managed to win the Tricklining competition and secure myself some
WSFed world ranking points..

 



Olympic Torch

 

During the Olympic Torch relay I was asked to
be part of a slackline demonstration to celebrate the torch
 coming through Teignmouth and over the Teignbridge..

 



Thorpe Park Mash-Up

2012 started with a 7 day gig at Thorpe Park with the

Animal Bike Tour and the Storm Freerunners..

 

 

 



Project X/Britains Got Talent

During the end of the year the BBC contacted Maverick again

 to see if a groupof us wanted to take part in 'Britains Got Talent'

Because slacklines are not your normal talent show performance

 we had to create a auditionvideo to show the panel of judges

 so Dimension2 were brought in to film a suitable edit..

After presenting the edit to the judges we were

 put through to the next round, this involved

going to Birmingham to perform in front of a live audience

 with Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden

 and Alesha Dixon watching us..
